Who CAN’T get microblading, ombre brows or machine nano hair stroke procedure?
Clients that have the following conditions:
- Pregnant or lactating women
- HIV, Hepatitis, and any blood transmitted diseases.
- Diabetes
- Allergies to medicines and anything used before, during, and after the
procedure - Keloids on the brow area or keloid-prone skin
- Birthmarks or moles in the brow area
- Highly sensitive skin
- Underwent or will have Botox treatment or chemical peel (2 months before
or after, is safe timing) - Freshly-tweezed or waxed brows
- Sunburnt or frostbitten brow area
- Skin disease or similar illness
- Minors (below 18 years old)
Other Diseases and Conditions that Require Precautions or approval from the doctor:
- Chemotherapy, Heart diseases, Hypertension
- Psoriasis, Melanoma, Warts
- Acne, Dandruff, Rosacea
- Skin abscess, Basal cell carcinoma, Squamous cell carcinoma
- Seborrheic keratosis, Actinic keratosis
- Scabies, Ringworms, Hives
- Herpes, Shingles, Tinea versicolor, Viral exanthem or viral rash
- Skin surgeries
- Clients taking any kind of drugs and is on maintenance medicine
- Steroid Medication & Prednisone (off at least 2 months)
- Has an open wound present
- Has aged skin that is extremely thin or severely wrinkled
- Has a bacterial or viral infection
Please get approval from your doctor before having microblading/microshading or machine hair strokes procedure if you:
- Have diabetes and under doctor care
- Have been remission from cancer for 1 year
- Have high blood pressure
- Using blood thinning prescriptions
The following facial procedures must be avoided before the microblading/microshading procedure:
- DO NOT tweeze, wax or tint your brows at least 1 week prior to the procedure.
- Discontinue ALL blood thinners 3-4 weeks prior, ex. Tylenol, Advil, Motrin, Vitamin A, Retinol.
- DO NOT take Fish Oil or Vitamin E 1 week prior, as these are natural blood thinners.
- Avoid tanning, sunburned face, or any type of facial 2 weeks prior to procedure.
- 24 hours prior: DO NOT consume alcohol, coffee, caffeine or soda. DO NOT take aspirin or ibuprofen!
Please avoid Botox or Chemical Peels of any kind!
These include: Glycolic, Pumpkin, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Salicylic Acid, Microdermabrasion, Laser Facials, both ablative and non-ablative. Also, Fraxel, Co2 and IPL laser treatments at least 3-4 weeks prior to the procedure.
